Florida Man Aircraft Sales is a trade name of TTA Aviation LLC, a Florida limited liability company. This policy covers floridamanaircraftsales.com. Short version: we collect what we need to talk to you about an airplane, and we don't hand it to anyone trying to sell you something.
What we collect
- What you type into a form: your name, phone number, email, tail number, aircraft make/model and times, condition notes, and anything else you choose to tell us.
- Visit context: the page you landed on, the referring URL, any campaign parameters in the link, and a basic browser/device identifier.
- Cookies: analytics only (Google Analytics). Turning cookies off in your browser does not break the forms.
How we use it
- To answer you about the specific airplane you contacted us about — by phone, text, or email.
- To market and sell an aircraft we've been engaged to sell, or to match you with one we're listing.
- To see which listings and ads actually produce real conversations.
- To keep junk and fraudulent submissions out of the forms.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your airplane or a listing you asked about. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying or selling anything with us.
No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS are not shared with anyone except the service providers who deliver the messages on our behalf, and they may not use them for their own purposes.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your contact information.
- We don't pass you to lead-generation companies or other brokers.
- We don't run long automated marketing sequences. If we can't reach you, we follow up once.
Who touches your data to run the business
- Google Workspace / Google Cloud: email, documents, and the systems the lead record lives in, processed on our behalf.
- Our phone and messaging provider: carries the calls and texts to and from our published number.
- Aircraft title and escrow companies: only if a transaction proceeds, and only what escrow requires.
- Ordinary business vendors: accounting and similar, under contract not to use your data for their own marketing.
- Legal compliance: if required by law, subpoena, or court order.
Your rights
Email thomas@floridamanaircraftsales.com to get a copy of what we hold on you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll respond within 30 days.
How long we keep it
Lead and inquiry records are kept until you ask us to delete them. Records tied to a completed transaction are kept for tax and legal compliance, typically seven years.
Security
Data moves over HTTPS and is stored in systems that require authenticated company accounts to reach. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps.
Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it.
